Implant-Supported Dentures

A dentist in scrubs and protective gear performs a dental exam on a woman in a dental chair.

The stability of implants. All the coverage of dentures. Just better.

Two options to fit your lifestyle and comfort:

Fixed stays in place
Removable gives you flexibility.

Fixed Implant Dentures

For patients seeking a permanent, slip-resistant solution.

-‎ Screwed into implants—only removable by your dentist
-‎ Feels and functions most like natural teeth
-‎ Stays in 24/7: eat, sleep, and live without worry
-‎ Best for those wanting maximum strength and simplicity
-‎ Requires slightly more implants (often 4–6 per arch)

Removable Implant Denture

For patients looking for a secure but removable option.

-‎ Snaps onto implants with special attachments
-‎ Easy to clean and remove at home
-‎ Smaller number of implants needed (as few as 2)
‎-‎ More budget-friendly than fixed options
-‎ Can be converted into a fixed implant in the future

Which is right for you?

Lifestyle: Want to “set it and forget it”? Go fixed. Prefer flexibility? Try removable.
Budget: Removable is more affordable upfront. Fixed is a long-term investment.
Care Routine: Fixed requires brushing like natural teeth. Removable means daily cleaning out-of-mouth.
Bone Health: Our team will assess if you need bone grafting to support your choice.

IMPLANT TREATMENT

  • If the damaged tooth is still present, it will be gently removed. You’ll be fully numbed—no pain, just light pressure. Healing starts right away.

  • A small titanium implant is placed precisely into the jawbone. This acts as a new root. You’ll be numb throughout, and healing takes about 3–4 months while the bone fuses to the implant. We’ll check in monthly with a quick X-ray.

  • Once the implant is stable, we’ll place a small healing cap to shape the gum and prep for your new tooth. This step may happen during implant placement or at a brief follow-up visit.

  • You’ll come in for two final visits: first for impressions, then to place your custom-made crown. It’s color-matched and shaped to look and feel like a natural tooth—so you can smile, chew, and speak with ease.

FAQ’S

  • Most patients say the procedure is easier than expected. You’ll be numbed during surgery, and any post-procedure soreness is usually mild and manageable with over-the-counter pain relief.

  • With good hygiene and regular dental checkups, implants can last 20 years or more—many even last a lifetime.

  • Yes—in a good way. They’re more secure, comfortable, and natural-feeling, especially when eating or speaking.

  • It depends on your jaw and needs, but most full-arch dentures are supported by 4 to 6 implants.

  • Yes, it’s a safe and common procedure. Grafts can come from your own body, a donor source, or a synthetic material—all biocompatible and carefully selected.

  • If bone grafting is needed, healing can take 3–6 months. After that, the implant is placed, followed by several more months of healing before the final restoration. We’ll guide you through each phase with care.

  • No—temporary teeth or dentures are typically provided so you never go without a smile while your implant heals.
